Oakland County Employment Diversity Council, Washington Events along with Ad Local presents, Wine, Wit and Wisdom Executive Speaker Series. This Series is a privately attended event hosted on the 3rd or 4th Thursday of the month in which executives share their professional and personal journeys with a diverse group of professionals, influencing them to ‘Push for Prosperity in Pontiac and surrounding areas in Oakland County!’

Program objectives:
  • To support the realization of our vision and mission, by partnering with like mind organizations for membership growth & fundraising. 
  • Engage various external stakeholder groups that support and serve OCEDC's values and interests including our diversity suppliers.
  • Express best practices to hold leadership accountable for Diversity & Inclusion goals and objectives.
  • Help reduce stereotypes and dispel myths about diversity in the workplace.
  • To connect with leaders from diverse industries and organizations to provide information on best practices used to increase inclusion in the workplace.
  • Building relationships to strengthen inclusion and equality in all industries statewide.
